In a recent trending bombshell released by President Donald Trump on Truth Social on February 19, 2026, the topic of unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP) made world news. President Trump’s direct quote was, “Based on the tremendous interest shown, I will be directing the Secretary of War, and other relevant Departments and Agencies, to begin the process of identifying and releasing Government files related to alien and extraterrestrial life, UAPs, and unidentified flying objects (UFOs), and any and all other information connected to these highly complex, but extremely interesting and important, matters.”
This order, directed at government agencies such as the Department of Defense, is happening in a time when public interest is at an all-time high. Maybe this is intentional or perhaps coincidental. Either way, it’s likely to be an interesting new era where humanity faces the unknown. Our world is abuzz with excitement, and rightly so. These alien mysteries serve as a reminder that reality, and everything we think we know, is probably much bigger than we realize.
As a yoga instructor and holistic healer, I am compelled to help people learn safely and as quickly as possible. The truth, like the universe itself, does not lay itself bare in one moment. Like an onion, it reveals itself in layers, encouraging us to investigate more deeply through time and attention. Of the 15 guidelines I teach for optimizing the learning of yoga, guideline #8 reflects this persistent uncovering of the layers of truth of life. It goes far beyond the yoga mat into the realms of physics, mathematics, cosmology, and even mysteries such as the existence of alien life or government secrets.
Guideline #8: “There is Always a Deeper Level.” In anything physical, such as in my classes, this guideline becomes self-evident. You breathe a little deeper, release the tension, pause in the moment, find a little more space, and gently move into it. There is always a deeper level. As your body transforms over time, the process is the natural evolution of regular practice, where the surface-level yields to the deeper truths.
The same process of layered revelation is at work in life and the universe. Consider this: a curious inquiry about the stars propels us into quantum physics, which leads us into multiverses and perhaps even alien encounters. In the midst of news headlines about possible UFO revelations, this rule seems particularly apt. What if the government’s revelations are merely the tip of the iceberg? The true revelation is within us—to cultivate the inner knowing to ride the waves of whatever truths come to light. That’s the magic of yoga—it prepares you to receive the unknown with poise, transmuting cosmic curiosity into knowledge and power.
