The recent brief partial government shutdown, although it passed quickly, served as a reminder of how national tensions can create internal waves of concern or unease. It directly touches on my 6th Guideline: Take care of things while they are small. That’s advice we hope our politicians – all 100 Senators and 435 Representatives – take to heart.

Just as we hope they attend to problems before we all feel the pain, we pay attention to our own bodies while things are still manageable. After decades of training and work I have incorporated these principles into health generating and sustaining practice.
As the first hint of dawn’s gentle light creeps over the horizon at South Beach Park in Boca, our world comes alive. The darkness of an indigo sky turns to rose, then gold, as each new day promises a unique sunrise. The meditative splash of waves against the sand creates a healing melody as the mist of saltwater fills us with fresh, cool air. Our bare feet feel the grounding coolness of the sand as birds sing in celebration of a new day in this sacred place where heaven and earth meet. Anything seems possible in this place of renewal, clarity, and peace.
This is why I start my day here with yoga, and why I invite you to do so too. Beginning your day with yoga is life-changing. It releases tension built up in your body overnight, creates strength and flexibility without straining your body, clears your mind from the fog that so often greets us, and provides your body with pure and vibrant energy. Perhaps most importantly, it connects you with presence and thankfulness, keeping you grounded in the now so that little imbalances don’t add up into larger ones.
At the center of all of this is Guideline #2: Practice Daily—the golden key and rock-solid foundation of my guidelines. One simple practice—just showing up—is the key to all of the rest. No need for radical changes. Just this one healing practice multiplies its power exponentially over time: a pain-free body, a happier mind, a vitality boost, crystal clarity, and joy.
This is precisely what we provide in our Free Daily Sunrise Yoga Class. Daily, 7 days a week, rain or shine, we meet from 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM at the South Beach Park Pavilion, located in East Boca Raton, Florida, at E. Palmetto Park Rd & A1A. I personally teach these classes as Dr. Sattva Noblitt, providing a gentle, healing-oriented practice with therapeutic alignment, conscious breathing, and deep renewal.
It’s designed and adapted in real time so that it’s appropriate for all levels. The unique setting is by the ocean, providing rejuvenating energy from the Earth and the Sea, and the supportive community of our Sunrise Yoga Family provides a sense of belonging. Daily attendance is training in the best way: relentlessly and consistently showing up for oneself.
Day after day, the benefits are revealed. The tension seeps out of the body as we move into the flow. Energy increases with each breath, propelling you through the day with a bright, upbeat quality of voice. Clarity and ease come together, just the kind of vibrant, holistic wellness so many seek in the midst of busy lives, work, and family.
Be ready to rise and shine and meet us both daily and regularly! Bring a mat and towel if you have them, or come as you are. We will breathe, we will connect, and we will welcome the day together in a state of healing and gratitude. Want a simple reminder?
